Less than 2 months until the wedding!

Time has really flown by! I only have 2 more months to get everything done. This last week was frustrating because I was dealing with the photography company that said I "won" a package from them. I don't think I will believe the next company that tells me I am getting something for free. I ended up canceling my photography with them for the wedding and was kind of forced to still use them for my bridals because I couldn't get my money back that I had already put down. I am going to have the same photographer from my sister Jaki's wedding do the wedding pictures. Other than that, wedding planning has been going pretty smooth. I booked the caterer and am now debating whether I should use a D.J. or get a band for the reception. After that gets done, I only have little things to do and make. For those of you who don't know, I will be staying in Utah for almost a month! My maid of honor, Lisa, is flying out here the last weekend in April for a bridal shower some friends are throwing for me. We are then going to drive back to Utah together a few days later and I won't come back to Phoenix until after the wedding! I am really excited! I hope everybody got their invitations this past week!

Less than 5 months to go!

I can't even believe how fast the time is going by! It seems like Weston just proposed a month ago. We went and registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Target a few days ago. It was actually kinda fun:) I was thinking beforehand that Weston would just keep telling me over and over "Get what you want" or "Do what you want" He is usually so laid back and just lets me decide on things like that. But he actually got into it and was talking about things matching and what would look good with what! I was surprised. We found out that we both pretty much have the same likes and dislikes in almost everything. So that was cool. I told him that I was really glad that he was with me doing it, because I usually take a really long time shopping and making decisions. Plus I kept telling him that things were too expensive and he kept reminding me that we weren't buying these things and to not worry about money for once. This was like a wish list! haha It was funny. It took a long time and we were ready to go home after we racked up about ten pages worth of stuff. So then we went home and did the Target registry online. MUCH easier.

More wedding stuff!

So I got some exciting news yesterday. I won a photography package for the wedding! I entered the contest when I bought my dress at David's Bridal. I am SOOOO excited! It is worth like $300.00 so that definitely helps us out!I get two hours at the wedding AND a bridal shoot. I also get to choose the photographer I want. I never win anything, but so far I have won a cruise, a hotel stay, and now this!

6.5 months till the big day!

Time has gone by so fast since we have been engaged! I have gotten some of the big things done for the wedding, but still have lots to do and lots to save up for! Last time I was in Ogden we got the location booked (It is going to be at Weber State's Alumni Center) and I also bought my dress! Since then we also found the flower girl dresses and I made some little baskets for our oldest neices to carry. Weston and I will probably register for gifts sometime after Christmas. I am hoping to get a lot done when we come home for Christmas. Planning a wedding out of state is a little tricky, but I think it will all turn out in the end. I can't wait for the big day to come :)
